Guidelines for Authors

  • According to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Guidelines, authorship refers to "the creator or originator of an idea or the individual(s) who develops and brings to fruition the product that disseminates intellectual or creative works (e.g., the author of a scholarly article)." The editorial team of Margalla Papers encourages that the contributions of all authors be described, and the corresponding author is responsible for providing the contributions of all authors at the time of submission. We expect that all authors will have reviewed, discussed, and agreed to their contributions before submission.
  • Margalla Papers accepts original, evidence-based research papers that add value to existing literature. A research paper must be clear in its argument and use an appropriate methodology that is workable and applicable to the given environment of the journal's scope.
  • All manuscripts must be submitted electronically.
  • Articles shall be duly formatted in MS Word.
  • Only Electronic submission (Soft Form) of manuscripts is accepted, and the corresponding text, tables, and figures shall be drafted in a single Microsoft Word file.
  • Important (It's Mandatory): When an author submits, there is a References field, and the author can add references to it besides adding to the manuscript. Each reference should be on a separate line, and you should make sure the text you paste into the field has no extra line breaks or spaces. Using a referencing tool that allows the Chicago Style of Referencing is highly recommended.
