Copyright and Licensing

All research papers published in Margalla Papers are permanently available online without any restrictions. These can be read, downloaded, and cited on the condition that appropriate acknowledgement/ citation is included. 


Copyright of an open-access research paper in Margalla Papers is retained by the author(s) due to his/ her original work. Author(s) grants a license to Margalla Papers to publish his/ her research paper and identify itself as the original publisher. Author(s) may have to sign an agreement allowing the journal to reserve the right to circulate the article and all other derivative works, such as translations.

Author(s) is encouraged to post his/ her research work, published in Margalla Papers, online under their names or ID along with DOI/ URL (duly attributing to Margalla Papers as original publisher) to make their publications available to a larger audience to increase the impact factor and citation levels. 

If a research paper published in Margalla Papers needs to be translated or republished in another journal (or any other publishing medium), prior permission must be obtained from the original publisher. In this regard, manuscripts and editorial communications may be directed to the Editor Margalla Papers ( 


Articles published in Margalla Papers are licensed under an open-access Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). A research paper published in Margalla Papers may be reused and quoted provided the original version is cited while ensuring that the author(s) receives proper credit.

Users are free to Share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and Adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material). The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms if they follow the license terms:

    • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
    • NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.

Repository Policy

Author(s) is allowed to deposit his/ her work (incl submitted version, accepted version, and published version) in an institutional or other repository/ website without embargo. However, the Author(s) is advised to refrain from posting manuscripts during the submission/ publishing process as it may lead to affect the Turnitin Similarity Index. Author(s) should also clearly attribute Margalla Papers as the original source of publication and provide accurate citation details when posting, reusing, or distributing published Open Access research papers elsewhere. The URL/ DOI of the published article should be mentioned when posting to any repository.

Reproducing Published Material from other Publishers

Margalla Papers does not publish material from other publications without permission. Author(s) must obtain permission to reproduce any published material which does not fall into the public domain or for which he/ she does not hold the copyright. The copyright holder may give instructions to be followed; otherwise, follow the style (given below) to be mentioned at the end of the caption of the Table, Figure, Scheme, etc.
