Author Guidelines

  • All manuscripts must be submitted electronically.
  • Articles shall be in MS Word, duly formatted according to the Guidelines and Publication Policy of the Margalla Papers.
  • Only Electronic submission (Soft Form) of manuscripts is accepted, and the corresponding text, tables, and figures shall be drafted in a single Microsoft Word file.
  • Important (It's Mandatory): There is a References field when an author makes a submission and the author will be able to add references to it besides adding to the manuscript. Each reference should be on a separate line and you should sure the text you paste into the field has no extra line breaks or spaces. Using a referencing tool, allowing the Chicago Style of Referencing, is highly recommended.
  • Author(s) are requested to register through their ORCID IDs

Funding Disclosure Policy

Authors submitting to Margalla Papers must include a dedicated 'Funding' section in their manuscript, positioned after the acknowledgments and before the references. This section ensures transparency regarding any financial support for the research, in alignment with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

If no funding was received, authors should state: "This research received no external funding." If funding exists (e.g., grants, sponsorships, or subsidies), authors must provide full details, including the funder name, grant number (if applicable), and the role of the funder in the study (e.g., design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, or writing). In accordance with COPE's Code of Conduct for Journal Editors, readers should be informed about who has funded the research or other scholarly work and whether the funders had any role in the research and its publication and, if so, what this was. Failure to disclose funding information may result in rejection of the manuscript. This policy applies to all submissions effective from Vol. 29 No. 1 (2025) and supports our commitment to ethical publishing practices.
